This is an 8 way dual line switching distribution console. (Dual line means that both the Positive & Negative wires are switched in DC, & the Live & Neutral wires are switched in AC or DCC). The console can receive and distribute AC voltage, DC voltage, or DCC voltage. The AC can either be switched as AC or converted on board to DC before 
switching. The indicator LED is tri-coloured, so gives a different colour for AC, DC, or DCC. You can only have one type of voltage at a time per board, so only AC, or DC, or DCC.
 
All connections are via terminal blocks within the enclosure. Wires come out the rear of the unit. 
The enclosure is 170mm left to right, 85mm front to back, 34mm heigh at the back & 19mm heigh at the front. It comes complete with anti-slip feet which you fit after you have made all your connections and replaced the base.
 
The circuit below shows how the 3 types of input are combined to give an power via a switch to the 8 outputs.
It must be stressed you can only use one type of Input at a time per board.
 
This could be:-
DC output to power and control 8 DC circuits, such as Building Lighting, Street Lighting, Animatronics, etc.
AC Input converted to a DC voltage for the same as above.
AC Output to control sections of point motors in Fiddle yards etc.
DCC output to control sections of track in sidings or loops etc.
